Raymonde

Paul Raymonde is a British artist. Born in London he started work as an illustrator and cartoonist for the press. He first became interested in trompe l’oeil and mural decoration when he spent some time Italy. Greatly inspired by the wit and skill of the old master muralists he started designing and painting his own decorations.

He takes commissions from both private clients and designers of public spaces. The trustees of the Tate Gallery chose him to decorate the hall for the Grand Tour Exhibition.

Raymonde lives in Mallorca, Spain.

Working practice

Where possible, for convenience sake Raymonde will fabricate commissions off site in his studio. Usually painted on canvas they are then delivered and applied to the relevant walls.

Printed Murals

Another option available are large format printed murals. These can be of the highest quality and are convenient for bespoke commercial applications both interior and exterior.
